Deposit without ID

You can deposit without ID at crypto-only sportsbooks, because they fund accounts through Web3 wallets rather than Dutch bank accounts — but not every platform that advertises itself this way actually skips verification. Stake, for example, requires level 2 verification before any withdrawal, so an ID-free deposit there does not stay ID-free for long. The distinction matters more than the marketing: what you are really choosing is where the identity check happens, and whether it happens at all.

Where the ID check actually sits

A deposit and a withdrawal are two different moments, and platforms treat them differently. Cloudbet applies checks only when required, which means most deposits clear without documents but the platform reserves the right to ask later. Dexsport takes the opposite approach: entry is anonymous through Web3 wallets, so no identity document is part of the deposit flow at all. Stake sits at the far end of that scale — verification is mandatory before any withdrawal, regardless of how the deposit was made.

For a Dutch reader this is the practical question. If your goal is simply to move funds in without uploading a passport, several platforms will let you. If your goal is to move funds out again without ever showing one, the list shrinks considerably.

Licences behind the platforms

Curacao licensing is the common thread. Stake operates under the Curacao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1451/0918, held by Medium Rare N.V. Cloudbet holds OGL/2024/328/0599 from the same regulator. Thunderpick operates under a Curacao licence and has been running since 2017. Dexsport is licensed through Dexapp LTD under an Anjouan licence — a different jurisdiction, and one that carries different supervisory expectations.

None of these are Dutch licences. The Kansspelautoriteit regulates licensed gambling in the Netherlands, and none of the platforms above appear on its register. That is the regulatory reality a Dutch resident is working with, and it is worth being explicit about rather than glossing over.

Coins, sports and what each platform covers

The number of supported assets varies widely, and so does the depth of sports coverage. Stake covers 30 sports — football, basketball, tennis, baseball, hockey and esports among them — and supports 21 coins. Dexsport supports 85+ coins across 20+ blockchains. Cloudbet covers 5 sports (football, basketball, tennis, MMA, esports) with 30+ coins. Thunderpick is esports-focused with limited traditional sports and 5 coins listed as BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, XRP and more.

Platform ID required for deposit Licence Sports covered Coins
Stake Verification mandatory before withdrawal Curacao, OGL/2024/1451/0918 30 21
Dexsport No — anonymous via Web3 wallets Anjouan, Dexapp LTD 85+ across 20+ chains
Cloudbet Partial — checks only when required Curacao, OGL/2024/328/0599 5 30+
Thunderpick Curacao, since 2017 3 (esports-focused) 5+

Withdrawal speed and what it tells you

Stake processes withdrawals in 0–2 days after approval — and approval is where the verification requirement bites. Thunderpick withdrawals are instant. The gap between those two facts is not really about technology; it is about when the platform decided to confirm who you are. A platform that verifies at deposit cannot offer instant withdrawal later, because the check has already happened. A platform that verifies at withdrawal can accept your money quickly and ask questions afterwards.

For a Dutch user weighing this, the sequence matters more than the speed. Instant withdrawal is only meaningful if nothing stands between you and the request.

What a Dutch resident is actually choosing

The choice is not between "ID" and "no ID". It is between verifying at the front door, verifying at the back door, or using a platform where the question does not arise because there is no custodial account to verify — which is the Web3 wallet model Dexsport uses. Each has a different consequence when something goes wrong, and none of them come with Dutch regulatory protection.

Deposit methods also differ in kind, not just in speed. Bank transfers from a Dutch account create a paper trail tied to your name at the bank level, before any platform policy applies. Crypto transfers from a self-custody wallet do not. That distinction exists independently of what the sportsbook itself requires, and it is often the one that decides the matter for people who care about this in the first place.

Check the licence, check when verification triggers, and check what happens at withdrawal before you deposit — not after. The platforms listed here are the ones with verifiable licence details as of the last review date, and the differences between them are structural rather than cosmetic.

If the table above settled it for you, open an account and read the platform's own terms first: rankings compare what is published, not what happens to your money.
